Eucalyptus Grandis (Blue Gum)

KSh15.00
Eucalyptus Grandis commonly known as blue gum grow as straight and tall forest trees, reaching around 30 m (90 ft) tall. These trees grow very fast especially with plenty of water reaching maturity as early as 4 years. They could also be harvested from the 2nd year for use as poles for fencing or rafters for roofing. Common uses include power poles, fencing poles, rafters, timber for furniture, firewood and poles for buildings. These trees can grow in marshy areas with black cotton soil thus making them productive. Our seeds are sourced from the Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) giving our seedlings an edge over the rest.
